Uplifting Austin Families with affordable therapy and community support.
Uplifting Austin Families
Loving Parents envisions a community of connected, loving, and resourced families in Austin. We see a community where parents are cared for and have what they need to be healthy, and we see the beautiful impact that loving parenting has on multiple generations of children.
We seek to uplift families by meeting parents where they are, by supporting them in a way that is holistic, trauma-informed, and connected, and by creating communities where parents find belonging.
When parents struggle with resources, children are more likely to suffer from adverse outcomes in physical and mental health, have lower performance in school, and struggle with emotional and social development.
Loving Parents is an organization focused on empowerment.
Our goal is to change the world in a generation by empowering parents with the resources needed to raise their children to thrive. We work with community partners toward this goal and contribute by offering the following projects.
How we help parents
Individual Therapy
Loving Parents offers affordable, trauma informed therapy to parents in the Austin community. Our therapists are compassionate, kind and person centered. We want therapy to be something that you look forward to.
Group Therapy
Loving Parents offers affordable group therapy for parents looking for an opportunity to heal within a group dynamic. Our groups are facilitated by trauma informed, compassionate and kind licensed therapists.
Peer Support & Community Connections
We believe Connected Community is vital to the health of humans. A Connected Community is one where we are showing up as authentic humans and expect others to do the same. Loving Parents offers group peer support for parents in Austin to show up as they are and both receive and offer support. We also offer opportunities to connect in community with other Austin parents.
"There is no power for change greater than a community discovering what it cares about."
